While the story was boring me (I was struggling to keep reading the book), I loved the characters (they're deeps) and the romance! This has the superiors clichés (enemies to lovers and the prototipe of the male interest I love, I also loved Elizabeth btw).

Overall I understand why the story is a classic and totally deserved it. A solid 3.5 ...more

This is a nice story, if not a bit tedious, of courtship in 19th century England.
