This was my choice for my reading around the world challenge for Angola. I really enjoyed this book and wish I had the time to read it straight because then it probably would have gotten 5 stars but there are many characters who have connections to each other and sometimes I couldn't remember who was who. This is based on an actual event of a woman who bricked herself into her building during revolution.
