What Members Thought
I struggled to maintain interest in this book. It’s written more as a history book, and with continuous name dropping. The author makes the assumption that the reader knows all characters or will look them up…which is not a problem, but very laborious due to the sheer number of names introduced. Very well written, but I felt without plot or intention. Could be used as a reference for race relations/events/information organizer by “southern” states.
