What an awesome read! I don’t know what I was expecting, but that wasn’t it! There was something about this book that was just so addicting, I couldn’t put it down even if I wanted to. I’ll admit that although I had been meaning to start this series for a while now, it was the movies impending release date that really made me pick it up. I couldn’t stand the thought of seeing the movie without reading the book first, and I really wanted to see the movie.

Wow was this book good! I absolutely loved it and i can't wait to read the next book. I thought Rose was a bit too sure of herself at times and could be really mean especially with Christian. But, her smartness and the great come backs she usually has lining up for everyone that bothered her specifically Mia out won that. This book was better than I expected. I enjoyed it. The main character was funny and enjoyable.

With no doubt I can say that this was a amazing amazing book, everyone should take a go at it.
Basically this book revolves around Lissa and Rose, the story is narrated by Rose. Lissa is a moroi vampire and Rose is her guardian. Those two had run away from St. Vladimir's Academy 2 years before due to a reason, which I will not say because it will give away to much. There are many other characters who play somewhat a major role like Dimitri who is Roses trainer when she returns back to the academy ...more

First time reading a vamp story aside from TMI which isn't totally focused on vampires. Really had to try this one because of all the high ratings! I can't tell if I'm in love with this series yet, but soon I think after reading the second or third book:)

Yes!! I can finally say I read this book, it was a fun read, although cliche at times, but a wild ride nonetheless, a great start to the series :) B+++
this was awesome and enjoyable one of those fun reads.
