For anyone looking to try fantasy, if it’s not usually your thing, this book would be a good place to start. Compared to the ACOTAR series, this is more like fantasy-lite (book 1, at least), but Sarah Maas knows how to do fantasy. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

i think this is the first series book i read where it doesnt give you some amazing plot twist at the end of the book. i enjoyed reading this and it honestly didn't take that long at all once i was reading. i really liked this main character and the side characters reaoly peaked my interest. it had a good amount of plot twist which was kinda out of the blue and it was very cute in terms of relationships. it was nice to see friendships grow and two main leads slowly liking eachother. i wouldnt cal ...more
