so i wrote a review before but goodreads decides to delete it?? anyway, this book was a masterpiece. chef's kiss!

jacks is the loml. so is eva omg.

this book was so descriptive and i could feel myself getting lost in this book. i loved the way garber set this up and how magical it was. she was so descriptive that it felt like i was IN the book. this cover is gorgeous too but i WISH i had the money to get the special edition. ugh, i have a love-hate relationship with barnes ...more

although i had a terrible experience reading caraval a couple years ago, i really enjoyed reading this book so i’m really glad i gave stephanie a second chance (even if i wasn’t feeling excited in the beginning). The book is fun, it kept me excited to see what was gonna happen next and i believe that the author managed to develop this story and the characters really well

and btw…. I F-ING LOVE JACKS!!!!!!!!!

4 stars. stephanie’s books are just a staple at this point. to be frank i wasn’t a big fan of jacks as i read the caraval trilogy but he’s growing on me now.
