this story was absolutely amazing. i listened to this as an audiobook and recommend that everyone do so too. it felt like actually listening to a documentary about real people. each of the characters had different voices which made me really connect with them.

I have conflicting feelings about this book. First of all, the writing is skilful, and the author clearly put a lot of effort with researching the music industry. Yet, it also left me feeling quite frustrated. Towards the end, the line between fiction and an attempt to create a fictional reality was clear, and you could clearly see that this was fiction. i finally finished this! i really enjoyed it as a fan of fleetwood mac and almost famous, and this story is basically both those things repackaged. i had fun reading this, but didn't really feel that much emotional attachment to the characters. also... someone in a goodreads comment section spoiled the ending for me because they didn't spoiler tag so that sucked! i think the format this is written in makes it harder to connect with the characters, because we are just reading what the story is ve

AMAZING!! i love tjr’s writing style so much, i’ve missed it. i found myself wanting to listen to the band’s music and look up different moments between daisy and billy. i forgot it was fiction for a second because it feels so real when reading. i LOVE the structure of this book! the interview setup gave so many different points of view of the same moment which is my favorite. i’m not one who ever really highlights or underlines things in books, but i found myself wanting to highlight multiple q

Me encanto, es muy bueno. Me tuvo atrapada desde la primera pagina y con una ansiedad tremenda por terminarlo. Tengo un sentimiento de amor/ odio contra el Imbecil de billy, proclamo mi amor y admiración a camila por su tremenda paciencia y perseverancia sjjsjs yo no la tendría sjsjs. El personaje de Daisy me gusto pero no tanto, siento q no encajaba en la banda, un libro solo de ella como solista y compositora hubiera sido perfecto💕💕💕
