Like what I've said before I am not good at this. But I have reasons why I rated it 5. First thing first, the book justified what it is like to be in Tartarus and how dark it is in the House of Hades. The description was so clear that you could actually picture it out on your mind vividly. Second, it is amazing how up to the fourth book Uncle Rick manage to show the importance of each demigod of the prophecy of seven. This book was by far the best in the series. It was from all the sevens point of view(although Nico was excluded, but he's not part of the seven) and that was a big plus. In some of the other books I felt as if I had too much of one characters' point of view and it got kind of annoying (especially Piper and Jason). In this book it was nice to see all of t

This book was by far the best in the series. It was from all the sevens point of view(although Nico was excluded, but he's not part of the seven) and that was a big plus. In some of the other books I felt as if I had too much of one characters' point of view and it got kind of annoying (especially Piper and Jason). In this book it was nice to see all of their point of views and I never got tired of each character.

I have to take a special portion of this review for Nico di Angelo. He's gay! Unlike most of my friends I am actually really happy about it. He has always been my favorite character, and him being gay doesn't change anything. I actually saw it coming, because in one of the other books it mentioned he liked Annabeth and I just did not believe it. It doesn't change him, he is still the person he was before we found out he was gay. Nothing's changed! I also have to applaud Rick Riordan for including the idea of homosexuality in the book. He knew that he would lose some audience and yet he still did it. So back to Nico. The characters made him sound creepy and slightly stalkerish. I heard a lot of "He makes me uneasy" and "He scares me". It got annoying and would still be annoying even if he wasn't my favorite character.

Caleo- I am so happy for Leo. Him being one of my favorite characters I have been waiting for him to find someone. No longer is he the seventh wheel! Well he sort of still is, but once he finds Calypso again there will be no seventh wheel. I used to be a supporter of Lazel but not anymore, now I have Caleo to ship.
Percabeth/The cover- I totally love the cover. It just shows all of the love that Percy and Annabeth have for each other. Percy better not have heard Annabeth when she told him she loved him.
I loved the book and I can't wait for the Blood of Olympus ( I mean seriously Fall 2014. I guess great books take a great amount of time) A personal note to Rick Riordan- Do not kill Nico!!!! I have warned you.

THIS BOOK IS AN AWESOME SAUCE THE STORY IS VERY GOOD FROM THE STARTING FROM WHEN PERCY AND ANNABETH FALL TILL THEY GET OUT.
