This was so good!! Everything you could want in a Romantasy! The only tiny complaint I have is , it was sometimes hard to distinguish between reality and Elara’s illusions or dreams, I felt confused and then realized what was going on, I wish those scenes were written just a bit better but other than that. Great book.

2.5 This book is chaos - the pacing and plot is all over the place. There were some great ideas and a few really fun scenes, but they weren’t executed properly. I think a few fan artists could draw them and then you’d save the time from reading this book. lol

I heard this was self published and this is the trad published (improved) version. I’m guessing the editor could only do so much. The reviews for book 2 are so horrifying, I’m not sure what an editor could do. I think this writer has potent ...more
