Kristen Ciccarelli, you’ve officially ruined me for other fantasy romances. This book was everything; heart-wrenching, swoon-worthy, and addictive in a way that made me cry, giggle, and occasionally clutch my chest like some tragic heroine. Sure, there were moments I could see coming, but that didn’t stop me from being blindsided by the emotional punches and gasping at the twists that did land.

feeling conflicted with a 3.5 ⭐️ rounded down for predictability. zero complaints about the characters and overall storyline but the author’s writing style made things so predictable and repetitive. i don’t remember having the same thoughts about the first book.
