I didn’t hate this book, but…I also found it so hard to connect to the characters and the plot. Blame Rebecca Yarros? I didn’t love the modern setting and couldn’t get excited about the Greek mythology aspect, but I can see why others like it. If you loved Percy Jackson, it might be worth your time.
4.75 rounded up to 5 stars. This was fun. I enjoyed these characters and the world. It gave me Hunger Game vibes but with a tad bit of spice.
