Carissa, what have you done to me? This book was everything. The story was written beautifully and you could see how much thought was really put into each portion of the book. I really enjoyed the titles of the chapters and the focus that each section took me in. I felt well guided and I was able to follow along the entire time. This book does have a different flow from the other books. One thing I wish from the next book is to see more from Asar. You had to tease me, Carissa I HAVE GOOSEBUMPS! 😧

This book does have a different flow from the other books. One thing I wish from the next book is to see more from Asar. You had to tease me, Carissa with that epilogue. Now you left me wanting more. 😏I am in love with this series as a whole, so to add another beautiful addition to the Nyaxia Series is a job well done. 👏🏻 the next book in the series takes you through a indescribably, amazing journey of our lovely girl Mische. The fun isn’t over until it’s over. This world was already so much and then Carissa goes and adds a whole Nother layered cake to the menu. What incredible story building and character building. I love the two main character is connection and the slow burn throughout the story. The twist were twisty and made sure to keep you on your toes. I thought I knew how this book was going to end about 65% through but oh how wrong I was. 🤯 I am so excited for questions. I still have within the series to hopefully be answered and I’m really just not sure where the story is gonna go from here. If you’re looking for an an adventure that is going to leave you mind blown this might do it for you. Because there is so much to this whole story. I’m so excited for the next book and can’t wait to find out what comes next.

Sidenote: When I picture Asar why is it that I’m picturing up rooting Jonathan Bailey? Gods be damned. 🫣

Mische ✨🔥

This beautiful spirit just keeps making me want to love her more. I was so excited to see her go on her own journey, and watch her evolve into whatever beautiful butterfly she wanted to become. And my goodness did she take me on such a wild ride through this book. My heart broke for her because she is such a loving character. Her empathy, and the way that she looks at the world is so inspiring in this book. She truly is the light within the dark. The balance she brings this story is remarkable and I truly feel like Carissa wanted to make her the yin to Asar’s yang. ☯️ their connection was evident from the beginning, and I really loved how she connected to him in so many ways.

Just a heads up! The warnings that are given off are one of a kind. But also, you totally don’t wanna believe what you’re reading. So be warned with her realizations and what she notices. Because it makes a difference.

Asar 🌒

Let me tell you how much I love a brooding male main character. He had me from the get I truly enjoyed how he studied everything and wanted a master whatever came his way. You could feel that was how he first took in Mische and it made me a goner. My heart strings pulled for him in so many ways, and I knew from the beginning of the book that there was some kind of secret to him. You won’t see it coming and I cannot wait for you to tell me how it made you feel. I’m just over here 🤯 He truly is a grey character with those shadow daddy vibes. He’s a giver in so many ways and I hope the worships Mische more. Because oh my gods. 🥵 and I have to say his quotes left me with all sorts of butterflies and goosebumps. So let me share my favorite one by far.

“I’ll tell you what you’ll have if you lose the sun, Mische. You’ll have a soul gentler than any vampire’s I’ve ever known. You’ll have incredible magic and the skill to wield it better than the bastard who gave it to you. You have a soft heart and a sharp wit and wisdom to know when to use one or the other. You‘ll have countless insane questions, and horrible taste in food and a penchant for making lost souls love you. And if you’ll take it, Mische Illiae, you will have me, too.”

So in full, wow. This book was beautifully written and with an ending, you truly are not expecting. And what a cliffhanger it is! 🫠 so if you are new to the series, I recommend reading the whole series from start to finish. It is top-notch. If you have read the series and you’re questioning about reading the next book then I’m just gonna tell you right now get on it. Because it’s worth all the emotions. 🙌🏻 ...more
