This book may be my favorite read so far this year.
Im a sucker for tournament/games, horror, dark romance and spice. This offered it all.
It started off slow and at first i was like hmm. I can't get into it. Boy did that change fast.

I understand why this is popular. I'm just not sold on the hype. It's a solid romantasy, I'm just not sure what makes it stand out so much.
And I'm a little confused how the sequel is set up because this felt like a standalone.
