This book had me with all of the beautiful quotes and butterflies flapping. I have to say, the adventure of it was very well written and kept me locked in from the beginning. I was hooked from the start, and enjoyed the way the author guided you through the story. It was well paced, but I didn’t feel confused as I was reading. I feel with books with trials I always get lost one point or another. I didn’t experience that with this one.

DNF - got bored. The games and trials trope was initially fun but got repetitive and seemed very surface level! Wish I could’ve enjoyed this book like all of the great reviews and booktok community

I LOVED this. The fact that the FMC had OCD. And the author wrote about her personal experiences with the condition through Ophelia was wonderful. I also love that the MMC told her she wasn’t broken and didn’t need fixing, but she could accept outside help? I melted for him at that. I can’t wait to read her sister’s story. And the spice. Let me tell you. I need a Blackwell in my life.
This story was great, gory, romantic, and spicy!

Small spoiler so don’t read if you haven’t finished . Finally an audible with a female voice that can do the MMC good!!!! I really enjoyed this book. I could imagine the games in my head and loved the romance. I did kind of predict about Blackwell…
