Why in the heck did I wait so long to read this book?! The slow burn was oh so delicious. I’m all over this professor-student relationship set in dark academia. It was a hauntingly beautiful read.

Started reading the paperback but ended up signing up for KU so I could read in the bed without disturbing my husband. I did not want to put it down.

I read the novella and that did not satisfy me. I NEED more of THAT story.

This novel, which begins with potential.A girl grappling with the grief of her mother’s death from an unknown disease(disgusting detail of worms emerging from her nose). The blend of horror and mystery in this premise immediately hooks you.
