An enjoyable start to this series. A strong, likeable FMC and a mysterious MMC. Onto book 2....
Definitely did enjoy this novel! Kept listening despite reality trying to intrude! Did feel like something was missing though so that’s why it’s not a 5 star! What can’t place, maybe the backstory or fleshed out minor characters…it is not a great distraction as still enjoyed the novel & with 3 more in this series no doubt more will become known lol!!
Great escapism novel though & the narrators do a great job of bringing these characters to life!! Loved the few POV we get from our MMC definitely ...more

Was slow, cool premise but over all slow, not sure if I will continue the series or not...
