What Members Thought

I see why this is so hyped! The first 20% was good but then it got really good!! Enemies to Lovers is my absolute favourite and the MMC is 🤤 🫠 The last 20%, my least favourite troop comes into play 😑
The bad - the story/events are predictable and aspects of the writing makes everyone sound like a child. Time is confusing and I honestly wonder if the author confused themself as well with the cycles, phases and rises/fallings. I could have sworn there were a few mixups/typos regarding time.

I enjoyed this book—phenomenal world building and an expansive plot!! I love this world and am looking forward to the next book.
It did take me until 30-35% in to my read to become fully absorbed—but once I did I finished the read in one sitting basically. I had to re-read a ton of things, and was constantly flipping pages to grasp terms, places, and characters. I was admittedly in a mild state of confusion almost the entire first half of the book.
