Okay…I’m giving this a solid 3.5 stars.
This book took me a little longer than I anticipated. I appreciate the effort gone into world building, but I have to admit I couldn’t fully immerse myself in the novel because there was a lot going on.
I was getting lost in the descriptions, I found it difficult to follow along with the story specifically because of the introduction of new words/phrases with no context. I liked what I understood of story and I’m excited to read the next book but like, I f ...more

I would say it’s closer to a 4.75* purely because some of the writing confused tf outta me lol
