Wow! Hart’s writing draws you into the story immediately! She drops these little hints throughout the story and then circles back beautifully in the end with reveals that are worth the wait. The world she builds is so fascinating and expansive! So many creatures and amazing culture and history built in. Saeris starts off very strong and does take a slight dive. Easily shelved into my guilty pleasure books. This story had me in a chokehold.
Oh this book is so worth the hype. It's been a minute since I enjoyed a book so much that I have it marked down to pre-order the sequel. And I just simply don't do preorders. Cannot wait for book 2 & if Kingfisher just so happens to magically appear in my life instead that'd be okay too.
