What Members Thought
This book is the best take on vacation read. I saved it till my trip to Disney world and it was perfect.
The World building and pace were all so original. It has those really good fantasy vibes. I didn’t want to stop reading to go into the disney parks. I wanted to sit at the resort and read by the pool.
I will say I got a little tired of how much the author overused the whole ‘scent’ fae thing. Maybe just not make that the center of the book. Otherwise I was glued to this. The banter was so good ...more

Holy shit! Now let me tell you 80% of the time I was screaming “Fisher is such a fucking asshole!!” Let me tell you readers. He 1000% is!!! The author wrote him as such a prick, that even you want to reach into the book, smack him in the back of the head, and ask him, “ what the fuck is wrong with you?!” Never fear there is good intentions behind his dark side and attitude.

I couldn’t get into this one at all. Couldn’t get past the ML’s name and while I really liked the MC and her story, the plot of the book itself wasn’t grabbing my interest. It might have been the writing for me as well.
Listen okay, I know the start is a little slow and a little rough but this book is chefs kiss. Just trust me! I can’t wait for the next one to come out. I’m counting down the days!!!
