Wow! I hate I had this on my TBR for so long, wish I would have read this last year. This was amazing. I loved the chemistry between the characters, the side characters, the twists and turns. The writing was fast paced and addictive. Can’t wait for book two, November can’t come quick enough!

I found this narrative to be engaging, but the beginning was more captivating than the ending. The story began at a slow pace, but the tempo eventually increased; conversely, the conclusion felt hurried, and I believe that an additional 100 pages would have been beneficial to provide clarity on the numerous plot twists that emerged suddenly, leaving me somewhat perplexed. I enjoyed this book. It was a good one.
The world was interesting the magic system was interesting…it took a long time to get to things and then all the story was told in the last 150-200 pages. If you can make it to page 350 you’ll probably enjoy this one.
