I. Have. No. Words! Gasps! Tears! Laughs! I don’t know how Lauren Roberts does it. Each book is better and better and just as intense as the last. I have so any questions. After trudging thru the first book, I started this one and immediately thought where is the plot?
I gave Powerless 3 stars because Lauren was a first time writer and for a first book she did a fair job.
But this second one is messy.
The POVs are so drawn out I had a hard time even staying with the story. It’s definitely a filler book, the ending did a fun little flip flop cliffhanger but that’s about it.

The banter, the slow burn, the plot twists - this book is deliciously painful. Can’t wait for book 3!
