A great stand alone romantasy My reviews are so basic lol. I just enjoyed this. Easy to follow. Easy to imagine in my head.
DNF at 50% – I struggled with the lack of world-building and felt like I’d missed key setup. Though marketed as a standalone, it seemed reliant on prior knowledge from another series. I found the first third engaging, but confusion set in midway, making it hard to enjoy the plot. Maybe I wasn’t in the right headspace, but this one didn’t work for me.
