I loved this second installment in the Emily Wilde series even more than the first. I enjoy the scholarly undertones throughout these stories, which elevate the subject matter beyond children's fairytales to something more sophisticated and compelling. I loved this even more than the last one! This series is adorably charming, full of adventure, and so cozy to read. The little romance moments between Wendell and Emily had me kicking my feet! Heather’s writing style with the journal format and footnotes is so original and the world building is MAGICAL. I love these books!!!!🧚🏽♂️🍃☕️🍄
