What Members Thought
When I started this book, it had all the making of a 5 star book. 6 characters that had very different personalities and relationships ready to develop. Throw in magic and I was excited but I then, hate to say it, I got a little bored. It was a good book, but a 3 star book for me. I think I was just expecting more!
There are many characters and I found listening to it on audible hard to follow. It's character driven, which is not my favorite. the concept of 6 competing for a chance to join this group and one must die was interesting, but all of their conversations about figuring each others weaknesses out were boring to me at times. This was just okay.
