Idk. I'm kind of indifferent towards this duology. It was alright, but is it supposed to be YA or Adult? Felt pretty young.

The Shepherd King Duet is now part of my personality. This has to be the best duology I have ever read. Two Twisted Crowns was a perfect follow up to One Dark Window. Definitely putting Two Twisted Crowns into my top 5 favorite books.
The Nightmare has got to be one of the most creative characters I have ever read about. Is he a villain or a hero?
The only thing negative that I can think to say is I'm so sad I won't return to this world again unless I reread these books.

What a wonderful surprise!
This series is a must-read! I truly enjoyed the story, the world RG created, the magic system, the characters and their relationships! Love love love! I loved her writing and how she wove the riddles and poems into it. To me, it felt poetic, mysterious and intriguing all at the same time. I fell in love the same time the characters did and I was with them through all their joys, pains and adventures. Top it all off with the surprising “wtf just happened” moments and I g ...more
