3.5 - Sorry but I did not like Ione. She is so boring and there was not enough Ione in book 1 for me to be attached to her in this book. I understand the effects of the Maiden card, it just would have been better if there was more character development for her prior to becoming a bore 🥱

Secondly, I did not like Ione + Elm. Partly because Ione is boring and partly because I wanted more Ravyn + Elspeth but mostly because Elm is a huge hypocrite!! 🙄 Had Elm been accepting/trusting of Elspeth in boo

Two Twisted Crowns picks up right where One Dark Window left off. Ravyn and the Nightmare/Elspeth are off to find the Spirit of the Wood, unite the deck of Providence cards, and lift the mist, curing Blunder of its dark magic. And, now that Hauth is seriously injured, the King looks to Elm to take on a more prominent role at court.

I’m really sad this is over. I got very attached to these characters. Found family is truly one of my all time favorite tropes. 4.5 stars of entertainment for this one simply because I couldn’t put it down for the last half of the book.
