Great follow-up to Ninth House. I liked this one even better. I definitely liked Alex better. Her character grew into someone I respected more. I really like this setting and hope there is another book. I love this author and she never seems to disappoint me. My only gripe is the story was a bit too long to spend so little time with Darlington. Plus, I was somewhat annoyed with him until the very end. Hence, I need another book. A dark fantasy that is also fun.
