Picked up this book because it was the pick of a book club that I joined. I’m just barely upgrading it from 1 star to 2 because of the very last chapter. The FMC is so annoying. She is definitely the worst character I’ve ever read. I don’t even have the energy to list the reasons why. It’s a lot. Will I read the next one? Maybe. Alright so I’m hot and cold about this book. There are parts that I love like the chemistry between the two main characters. The back and forth banter between Freya and Bjorn is fantastic. I could read a book where it’s just them. The plot is captivating and intriguing, but predictable.
