This book was difficult to finish. I almost shelved it so many times but I pushed through. The first chapter was good before it turn into a season of ‘The Bachelor - Fae Edition’ 😂 There are definitely A LOT of similarities with the ACOTAR series. The idea of the story would be entertaining but the writing falls flat. The main characters weren’t developed enough which made it difficult to feel any chemistry between them. Woah! What a book. Loved it! I never knew what was coming next! The betrayal in this book from all 3 main characters is *chefs kiss*🤌 excited for all the revenge coming in book 2!

I’d give it more of a 3.5 stars. First half was a 3, and second half was a 3.9 based on the entertainment factor.

It felt a little like reading a story on 4x speed. It would have been better with more detail, it almost felt like the cliffs notes version for a while because it was going so fast. A lot of it was predictable, but there was also a lot that wasn’t predictable too which balanced out the obvious stuff for me.
