SPOILER FREE UPDATE (2.7.24): Now that I've had time to sit with this story and process, I think I would bump this down to 4.5 ⭐
I enjoyed the book a lot, it was a ton of fun, and I loved the "side characters" story arcs (Lidia and Ithan in particular). However, there are enough cons for me to reconsider my original rating.

3.5 - I did it!! I finished the CC trilogy, all 2,700 (ish) pages of it!! AND I have officially read through the entire Sarah J Maas universe 🥵 (as it currently stands at least).
Minor spoilers to follow.
I really enjoyed the CC series and flew through these gagantic books. I love 3rd person narrative, the multiple POVs, all the side characters, world building, politics and multiverse storyline. I’d say more like 4.5 or 4.7 stars? It was exciting, emotional(I cried several times), the adventure was thrilling. It completely took me from reality, which I adore. I was consumed! Though, certain parts of Bryce I drove me nuts, I wanted to shake her haha but I loved getting more of Hunt’s personality. I liked Hunt in the first two books but he wasn’t a favorite. I loved seeing more of how his trauma manifested and I feel like I learned more of who he is, why he is, and I am a bigger fan now.
