SPOILER FREE UPDATE (2.7.24): Now that I've had time to sit with this story and process, I think I would bump this down to 4.5 ⭐
I enjoyed the book a lot, it was a ton of fun, and I loved the "side characters" story arcs (Lidia and Ithan in particular). However, there are enough cons for me to reconsider my original rating.
For instance, the ending felt anti-climatic and un-original since she re-used a certain trope that she used TWICE in a previous series. It made everything feel low stakes becau ...more
