Wow! I started reading ACOTAR on June 1, 2023, and made my way through the Maasverse!
House of Flame and Shadow was fast-paced just like the other two reads. I did contemplate a 3.5 rating at times. Some things fell through the cracks because of the speed. It almost felt like she HAD to squeeze it all into this book. It was so rushed. The story was still good and I enjoyed the overall reveals, so my end rating is a 4.1. SJM you’ve done it again!!! I love this book and these characters and I have been totally shocked with almost everything that has happened and where this series has gone.

Maybe 3.5 stars. This book was good and the entire series was worth the read, but it was just so loooooong.
