I didn’t want it to end….
No spoiler alerts here… But, I LOVED this book. SJM continues to be one of my favorite writers. She seamlessly blends together the storylines with fantasy, romance, and kick ass heroines that I would love to be when I (finally decide to) grow up. If you are debating this series as a whole you will be missing out

This was my favorite in the Crescent City series so far. I was completely engrossed in the plot the whole time; there was always something exciting happening or new to discover.
One thing I don't love about this series are the characters...they are all so quick to anger and feel immature despite most of them being really old. Some of them have endearing qualities too, but overall, they aren't my favorite. ...more
