Awwww what a beautiful story. I loved listening to the audiobook as much as actually reading the book. It was like listening to a bedtime story and you just want to find out what happens next in the adventure.

I loved Iris & Kitt’s love story. To me it felt true like it was sincere and their destiny. The story plot felt modern but for some reason it gave me WWII feels. I enjoyed that though I’m not sure why it seemed modern to me. The context sounded like it was set in something like a Harry Pot ...more

I loved both of these books. They are both five stars for me. They have a great story line, interesting characters, and a sweet love story without all the spice.

I absolutely loved the first book, but I had a really hard time getting into and finishing this book.... Especially after just finishing Fourth Wing and Iron Flame and also working on the ACOTAR series. I plan on reading again when I can dedicate the time to see if it was just me. 🤷‍♀️

😐 I feel really neutral on this one. Man, I expected to go in and be blown away immediately! That didn't happen... it started at the snails pace that RR is known for and continued to crawl past the 50% mark.

I found my mind wandering quite a bit. I longed for more...

I'll come back and write a proper review. Starting my year off so mid is a bit disappointing to say the least. 🥂
