I really enjoyed the conclusion to this story. Roman and iris love story was so sweet and they endured a lot. The story was their story and Iris grew into a strong female. Dacre and Envas underlying story may or could have been explained more, but I was ok with the snippets given.the supporting characters I enjoyed as well. Overall I loved this duology!

Of course I can’t help but think of how I felt reading book one, and think that book two, while still a great story, was not as fulfilling to me as a reader as book one. After the huge climax scene, I felt like the plot ran out of gas. The epilogue is giving sequel vibes but this is supposed to be a duology which I found strange.
