3.5 stars but rounded up because it was definitely better than just 3 stars. This is true chick lit. Sappy, silly, occasionally funny. A perfect beach read or dreary Saturday in October read. I recommend it.

Fun for September + a great fall time setting. I will say the plot as a whole is easy to read, but the book itself is a lot of crass. Vivienne, the main girl character, was so crass it was incredibly unattractive. In those first few prolog pages, I got fairly tired of reading it. The crassness made it not even remotely romantic. The best I could say is it is a good setting for the fall time. There was no connection between the two main characters. No true love even coming off their storylines. A ...more

Cute, entertaining, fun story. I listened to the audiobook and it was very well done. Would recommend as a quick spooky rom com read to get you out of s reading slump.
