I'm not sure why I've put off reading this book for so long, but I finished it in less than 2 days. It was a fast paced and easy read with such a unique magic system that kept me wanting more. Excited to move on to the second book!

I literally read this book in one day. I couldn’t put it down. I loved the rich details and clever writing and I thought the story was unique and original. I wish the characters were a little more developed and there were some repetitive phrases she used over and over and over…but I’m still looking forward to reading the sequel.
