I was HOOKED on this book! The author did such a good job with having the world building flow at the beginning when the action started almost immediately. It was very cohesive. It's giving dark academia fantasy vibes - military school meets dragon with a sprinkle of dying. AND of course I have to mention that Andara is the cutest little baby dragon. 😙

I really enjoyed the plot a lot - it's action filled and it was SO hard to put down!! However, two things - some of the characters felt so flat/one ...more

I put off reading this book for a while. The hype surrounding it really made me not want to read it, I was so afraid it wasn’t going to be as good as everyone was saying. I am so glad that I finally picked it up. It lives up to the hype in my opinion. The story is delicious, I literally ate it up. I mourned when I had to put it down. The slow burn romance was beautifully written. I loved how each relationship changes and grows throughout the book and to boot the FMC is a badass. And who doesn’t ...more
