Wow! I devoured this book. This book was EXPLOSIVE! Rarely was there a chapter that ended without leaving you wanting more. The book is fast-paced, exciting, and has so many twists and turns. Without spilling the beans, my heart broke a few times. What a whirlwind of emotions. AND Violet Sorrengail - the amount of growth is 🔥 I’m excited to start the next book!

Shelves: favorites, romantasy, my-library

As a Sarah J Maas fan, I stumbled across this series looking for a new good book. And Oh My God it did not disappoint. I finished this book and the sequel Iron Flame in less than a week, and I am craving more. Major book hangover! This series is perfect for lovers of romantasy books, and as someone in my mid to late 20s I appreciate having older characters and themes to relate to in addition to a well written & developed fantasy world. Looking forward to reading the future books in the series!
