What Members Thought
Was it worth the hype? Absolutely. This may be my favorite read of 2023( managed to squeeze it in before the year ended.) I loved almost everything about this book. The writing style took me a little bit to get used to, switching from SJM to this was just different? I prefer SJM writing, but the characters, the story, everything gripped me from the first chapter. I honestly would have finished sooner if the holidays hadn’t been going on. There was not a boring or “ filler” chapter. Not one.
Read it twice in prep for the sequel! Great fast paced adult fantasy.
