I've been reading this book off and on since its release in 2014. If that isn't enough to explain my 3 star review I don't know what is. I wouldn't say the book was boring per say but I just couldn't make myself read it. And trust me, I have a lot of spare time on my hands.
I loved this series, I used to be obsessed. I bought all of them on my kindle and read them in the span of a month or less and then waiting for the release of city of lost souls and then waiting for the release of this. 13 yea ...more

wow just wow.
ERCHOMAI, SEBASTIAN HAD SAID.
I am coming.
*pinches self*
why do I feel so dissatisfied with the way the series ended?
This book didn't really explain much, most of the deaths seemed senseless because they didn't do anything much to develop the plot. The writing wasn't as engaging as its predecessors, I skimmed over some paragraph because the long descriptions got a bit boring. Not much action lots and lots of talking, for a final showdown kind of book, it wasn't thrilling, the fights ...more

This is my absolute favourite book of Cassandra Clare's. I really enjoyed it because we have been introduced to the Blackthorn children. I loved this book because there was so much going on in it. so many different topics. love, and war. I think that this book was very long, and I wished that it was longer, I am upset that TMI has finished, but I cannot wait for the dark artifices.

OMG!!!!! I felt that it started it off slow but that was probably so anxious to see the ending. Once Clary, Jace, Simon, Izzy, and Alec went on their adventure; it got a lot more interesting. Alec and Simon had some of the greatest ones in the whole book. Of course Jace was just as arrogant and perfect as ever. This is my favorite series ever so it was really hard to see it in. The ending to make me cry. Then Cassandra Clare tried to fix the mess she had already made but it was pointless. If you

This is maybe the most emotional book of all six.... You'll experience all emotions. But you'll love it when you're done, even if you hate it. The book is truly amazing and I loved it so much.

This book series was awesome! Its enjoyable to read, but sometimes sad. City of Heavenly fire is the last book in the Mortal Instruments series. It's about how Sebastian kills and turns other Shadow hunters evil so he can take over and destroy the world, or have Clary help him take care of Edom which is a demon realm. Clary and her friends decided to travel to Edom to stop Sebastian from his evil plan of taking over demon realm, so he cannot gain control of the elements on earth, or any of the d
