Becoming Ted gets all the stars, it really is that good. Matt Cain became a favorite after loving The Secret Life of Albert Entwistle and he outdid himself with this book. If you want a story about a guy who picks up the pieces and finds his authentic self after his marriage falls apart, give Becoming Ted a try. I won this book from Kensington. It was very enjoyable. I like having a book about someone finding themselves later in life. Reading about Ted’s journey was very refreshing. The only part I didn’t really care for was how Ted assumed he knew what people (mostly his family) were thinking about him instead of talking to them and finding out the truth. I realize this was a big part of the narrative and important for his finding himself but it didn’t work for me. Otherwise it was enjoyable. I liked t ...more
