I enjoyed the story line of this book, mostly. It was an easy read and a page turner for me. What I hated about this book, and why it’s not a 5 star is because of Knox. I can get past every other character and their flaws, but Knox is the worst type of man. Extremely toxic is the best way to describe him. Other reviews have specifics, but I’ll just leave it with toxic.

He was bearable towards the end of the book, which is why I will read the next 2 books in this series.

This book was a slow burn for me, but definitely loved it by the end. When I finished reading it I found out the second book was being released in a few days and I picked it up as soon as it came out. Definitely love all the characters in Knockemount. Listened to it on audio and love the people they used to read the story. Definitely paints a good picture.

I honestly just could not even get into this book personally, maybe it was the writing maybe it just wasn’t my speed, honestly not sure maybe even alittle of both either way that’s why I gave it the 1 star!
