Our October selection for the Get Lit book group was Arrowood by Laura McHugh. The book is set in Keokuk, Iowa against a backdrop of the Mississippi river and decaying, formerly grand Victorian homes. The book revolves around the unsolved disappearance of two year old twins from their front yard 20 years ago. Their older sister Arden returns to the family's home, Arrowood, still haunted by their disappearance and the resultant fracturing of her family.
