In Lost & Found, the author takes a look at aging and death through the lives of three suffering characters: Millie, whose dad recently died and is now abandoned by her mother; Karl, whose wife recently passed away and has just escaped from a nursing home; and Agatha, whose husband somewhat recently passed away and has isolated herself in her home. The story describes how the characters come to encounter one another and process their grief as they work together to help Mollie find her mum.
