This book is not your typical time travel story. It starts with a depressed man from Earth and throws him into a galactic conflict where the future of entire civilizations hangs in the balance. The world-building is imaginative — with sentient universes, intelligent gates, quantum minds, and dangerous Factions using SAT-mines to erase people from history.
