This short book about a red car and a series of incidents surrounding it is an easy and entertaining read. The supernatural undertones that skulk behind the tale of various people's lives add a wonderful chill. The story flows well, with a delicious sense of foreboding that lurks beneath the normal. It touches on loss and recovery, too, adding some depth to the suspense. As the strange happenings and coincidences piled up, I felt shivers as I read.

If we divide fantasy into two parts, the first is imagination; the second is execution--that is, the writing.
This story is wonderfully imaginative. It has all the ingredients to (and truly deserves to) stand out. It begins with the introduction of the Red Car and Don Virgilio, and right away the premise grabs your attention. That said, the story moves at quite a fast pace. Personally, I felt there was real potential to slow down and explore the material more deeply.
At times, it’s a bit difficult
