Author Amanda Stuntz quickly draws readers into her beautifully written story through the superior way she describes the sights, aromas, and sounds of a shipping town in the old West. She has an enviable way of introducing characters quickly and believably with just a few deft strokes of her pen.
The plot was innovative and well-thought out, and “push pull” tension between the romantic couple of Mary and Justin was believable. An enjoyable read.
