That’s a nifty and attention getting opening line!
I can honestly say I’ve never read anything like this. It is a unique mixture of fantasy, magic, and time manipulation(?) set more or less in a modern period (actually lots of them).
So Arshes is a girl (another significant point) and can use time as a tool, like magic and must fend off mind boggling foes and events across immense spans of existence.
